Which Way Is Up??

Friends, we know that the Bible is true. We’re going to need to really embrace that fact in the coming days. With that thought a couple of scriptures come to mind. Hosea 6:3 says, “so let us press on to know the Lord, for as sure as the dawning He will appear.” Also, one of my favorites, Psalm 90:12 - “So teach us to number our days that we might present to You a heart of wisdom.” How many days do you have left? To some, not too many. To others very many; doesn’t really matter as a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day in the sight of the Lord.

2022 - The Battle is the Lord’s

As I sit here pondering the events of recent history and looking forward into the new year, I can’t help but thank God for His faithfulness and put my whole trust in Him for whatever is coming down the pike in the months ahead. As much as we tend to over think and even worry about “next”, the battle truly does belong to the Lord. That’s what God told Jehoshaphat as he considered the army in front of him, even with odds that were quite unfavorable. With God on his side, did it really matter the size of the opponent?

A New Song

2017 is here.  It's a new year.  Time for a new song.  I don't mean from me, I mean from YOU!  I just released a CD with many brand new songs God has given me to share with the body of Christ....His anointing is all over it.  It's color is many emotions and expressions of praise and worship offered to Him in new melodies....but I'm not talking about that.  A "new song" can come from your heart.  Wait - you're not a singer?  Can't carry a tune in a bucket?  Big deal.  My Lord is not impressed with my voice - He's looking at my heart.  Yours too!

Life in America, 2015…..the sun is setting in the west

Sitting at my desk doing much thinking today. I am by nature a very positive person. Anyone who knows me knows that to be true. Once in awhile I face a reality check just because it's necessary for my own perspective. Here is a synopsis of those thoughts.

I think it's time we stop calling the terrorists of ISIS "Muslim extremists". In reality they are Satanists, allbeit without even knowing or labeling it as such. They are deceived by the devil and doing his work. Their hatred for Christianity and Judaism can hardly lead to me to any other conclusion. In reality the entire Islamic religion is evil. Any religion that promotes killing innocent people in hideous and torturous ways is a satanic religion.

Golf, Anyone?

This year has brought a delightful change in my personal life, even an answer to prayer in that I have been able to resume my favorite of all pastimes, golf. Because of various circumstances I have not played what I consider to be the greatest of all games for the past several years. Not only has God provided the opportunity for me to play, he has brought several new friends and peers into my golfing circle here in Dallas for what has become a weekly game of competition, fun and fellowship. I’m beyond elated at this blessing!
